Clive Pettibone and Muriel Sacey-Pettibone.Clive was a military man who had three children with his late wife Jessica Pettibone.He was left to raise his children,Arthur,Morgan and his only daughter Isolde(Izzy).Clive became one of Avonlea's school teachers.Miss Muriel Stacey was also a teacher who took over the general store.Izzy set them up and they fell in love.For Muriel it was like her once in a life time as she had always thought she would end up alone.Clive was finnaly able to enjoy some companionship,as Arthur was studying to be a vetrenarian,Morgan at military school.That left him with Izzy who could not identify with him well,though she sympathised.Clive and Muriel were married and did eachother a world of good.
